Bob and Janis Kind are visiting our link parish in Mpondas, Malawi In February. The link has been considerably strengthened during this last year as we enjoyed visits from Fr Albert Nampanada and Bp Brighton Malasa.
They would like items to take with them for the parish.
Please pray for their safety as they travel . . .
They send the following message :-

We will arrive in Malawi on Saturday 25th February after an overnight flight and hope to arrive at the cathedral sometime on the Sunday.
It will be good to be briefed by Father Nampanda on the immediate and longer term needs and to try and put into perspective how our contributions can help the Cathedral and surrounding community.
During Bridget’s visit last year certain potential joint projects were identified and we need to explore these in a little more detail.
It will be great to meet Father Nampanda and his family along with people we met some 10 years ago.
February – March is the rainy season and we just hope that doesn’t mean floods !
We can take extra baggage for example one more suitcase of about 23 kg. What should we take , any ideas contact Bob & Janis?

Bob and Janis are still collecting small items to take to Malawi: eg sewing materials - cotton thread, needles, pins, scissors. Also school items: eg notebooks, pencils, and coloured pencils ( not wax!!!) rubbers. Sunday 19th it the final date for contributing. ...

Polesworth Abbey now has a Facebook page: goo.gl/SmYj3z and Twitter account: goo.gl/v21Cwr Please do Like and Follow respectively. ...

The Abbey Band plays about once a month for the morning service.
We are looking for a few more musicians - Young or old - to boost our numbers. PM David S Brookes if you are interested. Or leave a message here. Our next date will be Mothering Sunday.
